I've had the opportunity to visit over 15 countries and I love to travel. It's even better when there is time to shoot! I'm working to compile some photos from recent trips and will be sharing them here. Check back as I might have updates...
Cliffs of Moher, June 2007, Ireland
I had the opportunity to visit New Orleans with fellow photographers in the spring of 2008. Above is an abandoned classroom found in the Union Bethel Church. This was captured using 9 RAW images to create my first HDR testing. High saturation is a byproduct of the process which was reduced in the image below of bibles found on the floor in a chapel across the hall from the above classroom. Leaking water formed the creators in the disintegrated ceiling material on the floor. I noticed during editing that the only visible page is from Matthew 24 which refers to the end times. Hairs stood on the back of my neck as I read the passage. None of the rooms were disturbed in any way and it was an amazing experience to see the incredible destructive power of mother nature.
More amazing was to have the opportunity to visit, experience, and capture the powerful spirit and strong faith of Roy Amedee's faith community that had rebuilt their church after it being destroyed by Katrina in 2003.

More to come....
